We’ll help enroll your loved one, activate their account, and match them with their recovery coach.

    Note: you will not be charged until your loved one agrees to enroll.

When it comes to earning your loved one’s agreement to participate in DynamiCare, we can either reach out to your loved one directly, or we can help prepare you for that conversation. 

 

Option 1 | We’ll enroll them.

  1. INITIAL OUTREACH TO YOUR LOVED ONE
    With your permission, a coach will text your loved one to notify them that you have gifted them this program. They will note the opportunity to earn $100 a month for healthy behavior, and request a 20-minute call to determine if DynamiCare is a good fit. 

  2. CONTINUED OUTREACH TO YOUR LOVED ONE
    If the initial outreach is unsuccessful, the coach will continue to reach out for 30 days. We recognize that many people struggling with substances are ambivalent about their desire to quit or even cut back. Motivation can change from one day to the next, so we are patient.

  3. ASSESSMENT AND ACCOUNT CREATION
    If your loved one agrees to enroll once we reach them, we will administer an assessment to ensure that DynamiCare is clinically appropriate. Then we will create their account, grant them full access to the self-guided therapy and appointment tracking features on the app, mail their smart debit card and substance testing equipment, and schedule their first recovery coaching session.

  4. GETTING STARTED
    Once your loved one’s account is created, the monthly billing cycle for their plan will begin and your card will be charged.

Option 2 | We’ll help you enroll them.

  1. YOUR KICKOFF CALL WITH A COACH
    During your kickoff call, one of our coaches will provide you both with talking points as well as strategies for framing the conversation with your loved one. We also recommend you view our guide, Talking to a Loved One About Substance Use by Michael Levy, Ph.D., a psychologist specializing in addictions.

  2. ASSESSMENT AND ACCOUNT CREATION

    If your loved one agrees to enroll, then we will schedule a call between your loved one and a coach to administer an assessment to ensure that DynamiCare is clinically appropriate. Then we will create their account, grant them full access to the self-guided therapy and appointment tracking features on the app, mail their smart debit card and substance testing equipment, and schedule their first recovery coaching session.

  3. GETTING STARTED
    Once your loved one’s account is created, the monthly billing cycle for their plan will begin and your card will be charged.

FOR YOUR LOVED ONE

  1. Your loved one holds their first official coaching call. During that session, they identify meaningful and achievable goals. They will also schedule any recovery-oriented appointments into the app.

  2. Your loved one and their coach will continue to meet weekly via video chat, with unlimited text and email communication in between.

FOR YOU

  1. You will receive access to our Supporter Portal, where if interested, you can follow your loved one’s progress with the DynamiCare program.

  2. If you elected for any of our family services —including 1:1 coaching and video-based course content on supporting your loved one’s recovery journey — we will schedule an onboarding session to provide an overview.
